Programme 2018

  • Please note: The programme is subject to change without prior notice.
  • General Admission Ticket: R10
  • There will be stalls selling educational books, educational toys and children’s books in the school hall.
  • Parking will be available in the neighboring school grounds.
  • Vegetarian Food will be sold to the public
  • The Bookseller will have a pop-up-stall where readers will be able to buy copies of the participating authors’ books, as well as have their books signed. Credit card facilities are available.
  • There will be craft making (at a minimal charge) in the pink and purple rooms.

    Author Fiona Snyckers (Spire), Author Nozizwe Cynthia Jele (The Ones with Purpose), Author Yewande Omotoso (The Woman Next Door), Author Sue Nyathi (The Gold Diggers), Author Hamilton Wende (Arabella, the Moon and the Magic Mongongo Nut) and Author Jayne Bauling (New Keepers) share their secrets of writing a good story with Author Shafinaaz Hassim (Sophia).

    Workshop with Dr Ela Manga
    In this fascinating and interactive workshop, Dr Ela Manga will get underneath the epidemic of fatigue and why we are all feeling so burnt out. She will explore practical ways to live with more natural energy by understanding the connection between the body, brain and breath. Participants will be left with some simple breathing techniques that can immediately be applied for health, focus and energy. This workshop is based on Dr Manga’s book, ‘BREATHE- Strategising Energy in the Age of Burnout’
